To say that I am excited for Chelsea and Ethan’s Wedding next September is an understatement! I had so much fun with these two and their happiness was just infectious. It was Chelsea’s idea to do the photos at An Affair by the Lake and it was perfect! It is an absolutely beautiful location and we had the most perfect sunset!
This is the day I fell in love with photographing weddings at Vermont's Stratton Mountain. The Stratton Mountain Snow Bridge is my new favorite place for all the family and wedding party photos and the Mountain Club is a beautiful indoor location for both ceremony and reception! Amanda and Eitan had a perfect day for their May wedding and the whole day was full of so much love and laugher and just the right amount of happy tears.
I officially love photographing couples and their dogs at Warren Falls and Blueberry Lake! I had such a great time with Malaika and Taylor wandering up the river taking photos, while the fantastic little Cali chased her frisbee pretty much every moment. There was so much love and laughter and Cali providing entertainment … it was jus perfect!
Bella and Justin’s wedding on the Spirit of Ethan Allen just proves that rain on your wedding day can make for some seriously beautiful photos! During the reception the rain cleared and the fog over Lake Champlain made for some fabulously foggy photos!
When it’s too cold for an outdoor engagement session breweries are a great option. Sarah and Josh had the idea to go to the new location of Lawsons’s Finest in Waitsfield Vermont and it was perfect. In addition to the beer, and the beautiful building, the boardwalk from the Watisfield Village Path that runs in front of Lawsons made for perfect photos!
“We just started dating can you take a picture of us?” That’s how my husband and I met Jen and Cody while we were photographing a wedding. Three years later we had the honor of photographing their wedding at Arts Riot in Burlington Vermont. It was a big wedding full of so much happiness and excitement! It rained all day but everything was perfect and beautiful including the food truck dinner!
I love dogs, waterfalls, and chilly Vermont temperatures... so naturally this was one of my most favorite photoshoots! When I first started talking to Becca their dog Higgs was going through some really scary health problems. When Higgs got a clean bill of health they knew he needed to be the star of their engagement session and he certainly rose to the occasion! Blueberry Lake and Warren Falls made for an absolutely perfect wintery backdrop!
Ragged Mountain was the perfect location for Kate and Nate's wedding! The whole day could not have been more perfect! Their ceremony was held at the top of the mountain and they surprised their guests with cannon fire at the end! Kate's face was absolutely priceless when it went off! Everyone went back down to the barn at the base for the reception and partied the night away.
It's another flashback day here at Melissa Lynn Images! Back to June of last year when fashion blogger Annaliese from Southern Belle In Training and I went to the Burlington Fishing Pier and Boardwalk for a beautiful photoshoot! I love shooting at the Fishing Pier SO much! It offers more angles, views and fun lines than just the boardwalk does. Right behind it we found this fun, colorful wall too!
I am so excited to share Olivia and Austin's wedding with you today! I met and became friends with Olivia years ago when we worked retail together. So when she told me her and the boy she had been talking about for so long were getting married of course I had to travel to CT document it! They had a beautiful wedding at their church in Newington CT, with a small reception and they ended the day with a balloon sendoff!
