On the last Saturday in September I had the honor of photographing Elizabeth and Alex's wedding in Woodstock VT. The sun was shining and the weather was absolutely perfect.
Elizabeth wore a headpiece originally worn by her Great Grandmother in 1903. It originally had orange flowers so it had a little updating and embellishing done by a florist in Fall River Massachusetts. We were able to get a few photos of her in her Great Grandmother's wedding gown which is also from 1903. Elizabeth's actual wedding gown was an amazing 3D lace and tulle fitted mermaid gown by Justin Alexander. Her flowers were an updated version of the flowers her mother and grandmother carried on their wedding day. Both of Elizabeth's grandmothers were represented in the ornament, and the rosary beads that were pinned onto the stem of her bouquet.
The ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Snows across the street from the Woodstock Inn. After the ceremony we were able to take photos in the front garden at the Inn, the barn behind the church, and at the Woodstock Covered Bridge. The reception, which was held at the Woodstock Inn was beautiful, and the Stardust Band did a great job of keeping everyone dancing.
