I was SO excited when Lana messaged me saying she wanted to do a cake smash on her 35th birthday! Such a great way to spend your birthday getting pampered with hair and makeup, drinking bubbly, eating cake, and being surrounded with tulle and glitter! :)
You have got to see this ceremony location! Sarah and Will's wedding was held on Will's parents property with the ceremony in a field overlooking Mount Mansfield, and the view is just spectacular! I had so much fun photographing these two, and their playful personalities.
Two years ago I photographed Katie and Jordan's wedding, and Saturday I was able to photograph them again along with their fantastic little munchkin Kinsley! She was such a doll and we had so much fun playing with balloons, a sign with her name on it, and then hanging out in the snow and sunshine! I love photographing toddlers and it made it even better that I photographed her parents wedding.
Today I am doing a little flashback to Anna and RJ's engagement session on Lake Champlain. I am so excited to be re-living this session today! When Anna told me her plan for the shoot I was beyond excited! Combining Lake Champlain, Boats, Woods Island, Boyden Valley's Double Bourbon Cider AND rescue pups! SO many fantastic things in one session!
I am so happy and excited to be photographing their wedding in just 5 short months!
When Jen messaged me saying she wanted to plan a 30th birthday photoshoot I knew we were in for a fun time! Glitter, tulle, prosecco, cake, balloons, oh and that tiny crown... you can't not love everything about this shoot!
It was December and -10 degrees in Vermont when Annaliese and I went to Pink Colony in Stowe Vermont for a Lilly Pulitzer photoshoot. Pink Colony is Vermont's only Lilly Pulitzer signature store and If you have the winter blues and need some shopping therapy this is THE place to go! Surrounded by beautiful bright colors and warm air we could almost forget the outside temperatures and pretend we were on a tiny tropical vacation!
I am so excited to share Mary Jane and Mark's beautiful July wedding with you today! Mary Jane got dressed in her childhood bedroom in Essex Vermont with help from her Mother and her Maid of Honor. After tearful first looks with where Father and Bridesmaids it was off to Holy Family Catholic Church for the ceremony. Mary Jane and Mark exited the church to could of bubbles blown by their wedding party and family! We took some family photos at the church and then Mary Jane, Mark and the wedding party went to the waterfront for the rest. The sun was crazy bright and hot coming off the water so we took a combination of photos in the shade and down by the water before stopping for creemees on the way to the reception! The reception was full of their closest friends and family, many of which had traveled to be there, and they danced the night away to the fantastic music of the Phil Abair Band.
Wow, what a summer it has been! After this crazy summer and fall, during which shooting and editing consumed all my time, and kept me from my usual blogging, I am back at it! So, get ready for some beautiful, sunny, warm summer scenes!
To start us back up, let me tell you a little about Annaliese! She called me last winter from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a blogger, and was getting ready to make the move to Vermont to pursue her career in Broadcast Journalism! We started our first shoot on Church Street in downtown Burlington and ended on top of a parking garage!
If you want to know more about Annaliese (and what she is wearing in these photos) check out her blog Southern Belle in Training here!
We had such a great time photographing Magda and Alex's wedding day! The ceremony was held at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody MA. Despite the storms on the horizon Magda and Alex and their entire wedding party climbed the giant rock for some super unique wedding party photos! The view from on top the rock was great so we finished photos up there and then the rain came. Everyone ran back to the trolley but never stopped smiling! Their beautiful reception was at the Cruiseport in Gloucester and was full of beautiful traditional greek dancing!
I am so excited to share Emily and Jamison's wedding a the Ponds! They had such a perfect day! We started with a first look by the pond and we had some wonderful time taking portraits of the two of them, their wedding party and family. As we were finishing the portraits, some huge storms rolled in, but when it was time for the ceremony the rain went away and the sun came back out! They danced the night away with their family and friends and we ended the night with a sparkler exit. These were the smokiest sparklers I have ever seen! After some super smokey exit photos we were able to capture some magical smokey photos of just the two of them at the very end.
